Our CEO, Romal Jayswal (“RJ”), hails from Gujarat, India, where hospitality runs deep in his culture. For years, he observed hoteliers taking the biggest risks but receiving the smallest reward, losing revenues to third parties and technology costs. In 2019, RJ founded Predictive Minds, a revenue management system for the hotel industry. The insights he gained led him to identify the need for an online travel platform empowering hoteliers to own their businesses and deliver personalized experiences.

CTO
Our CTO, Saawan Patel, is a tech entrepreneur who co-founded Fountane, helping startups and SMEs adapt technologies to scale quickly. He’s also a newlywed with a big family! The challenges he and his wife faced coordinating group travel led him to see the need for a more innovative technology solution within the travel industry. He envisioned an online travel hub that offers collaborative planning, advanced booking features, and simplified finances.

Growing up in a family-run hotel in Monterey, CA, our CPO, Sidd Raj, had similar realizations. He hated seeing the excitement drain from guests’ faces when they had to sort out 3rd party booking mix-ups. It was harmful to guest experiences and the hotel’s reputation. This combined with knowledge gleaned as VP of Customer Success at Fountane, led Sidd to desire a solution that fosters exceptional boutique hospitality with direct communication between hotels and guests.
